V Anniversary International Mining and Metallurgical Congress "Astana Mining & Metallurgy" - AMM 2014

Leading dedicated experts of Saturn® Data International Company took part in the V International Congress «AMM - 2014» - «Astana Mining & Metallurgy».

V International Congress «Astana Mining & Metallurgy» was held in Astana from June 11 till June 13 2014 at the Palace of Independence. Over the years AMM Congress has established itself as an important event for professionals of mining industry. AMM Congress annually brings together global business, financial and scientific leaders of mining and metallurgical industry for the development of mutually beneficial partnership, introduction of innovations and drawing investments.

The "AMM" concept provides coverage of all questions relating to the complete cycle of production processes from geological exploration, ore mining, ore dressing and processing up to the manufacture of high-tech product.

The main theme of "AMM-2014" was: "Modernization is the main factor in the development of MMC amid unstable world markets."

Major countries participating in "AMM-2014" exhibition were: Austria, Germany, Kazakhstan, Norway, Russia, France, etc.

Round table with the discussion the question of the creation of gold mining companies consortium.

Plenary Session of the AMM Forum inaugurated Kazakhstan's Prime Minister Karim Massimov. Speakers of the plenary session include: Director of the Virginia Center for Coal and Energy Research (USA) Michael Karmis, President of the International Union of Geological Sciences Robert Oberhänsli, President of the Brazilian Mining association IBRAM Jose Fernando Coura, PwC Eurasia Region Managing Partner Alper Akdeniz.

In total the congress was attended by more than 1,200 people from 30 countries.

The main sponsor of the Congress AMM 2014 was large integrated Kazakhstan zinc producer "Kazzinc" Company with a high degree of concomitant release of copper, precious metals and lead.

Congress organizers were Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Iteca Kazakhstan exhibition company and its international partner ITE Group Plc (UK).
